Please note that this is a different police check than the one you need for your Working Holiday Visa.
It is your responsibility to organize and cover all costs related to obtaining a Criminal Background Check from your home country, as well as any other countries you have lived in for more than six consecutive months since the age of 18.
IMPORTANT
Participants in the Camp Canada program must receive the exact criminal background check as listed below. No other types of criminal background check will be accepted.
Police checks must be dated within the current placement year or within 2 months of your application date.

We highly recommend going to Mexico City to get your criminal background check — it would only take 15 minutes and it's free. The address in Mexico City is: Calz. de Tlalpan 1913-1929, Parque San Andres, 04040 Ciudad de Mexico, CDMX.
However, if you are from a different Mexican state far from the capital, you can get your police check at an office called "Procuraduria General de Justicia" but this may take 2 to 10 days to delivery and it will cost around 75 to 250 Mexican pesos.
Requirements: Name, Date of Birth, Address, Release Form, CURP # or Passport #, and Mother's Maiden Name and two color photos This search is conducted through a nationwide federal criminal repository consisting of Superior Tribunal Justice Courts and Courts of First Instance. Information returned will include all reportable criminal record convictions.
